Caner Özkan

I was born on April 2, 1986, in Kocaeli. I completed my university education in the Musicology Department at Kocaeli University State Conservatory. Subsequently, I was admitted to the Master’s Program in Musicology at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Throughout my education, I had the privilege of working with esteemed figures in the field. I studied harmony and composition with Mehmet Ali Uzunselvi, Evrim Demirel, and Revnak Yengi; harmony with Sarper Özhan; Contemporary Turkish Music with Yılmaz Aydın; and Music History with Gülşen Erdal. Additionally, I worked on Classical Guitar with Ozan Vedat Akyatan, Fretless Guitar and Composition with Cenk Erdoğan, and Jazz Guitar with Kerem Türkaydın and Onur Ataman.

In 2012, I began working with composer, arranger, and guitarist Alpay Göltekin as a composer, arranger, and guitarist. Since then, I have been actively creating music for TV series and films. Furthermore, I continue to participate as a guitarist in various projects.
